Columbia Chamber Choir is thrilled to be sharing this concert with Vox Nova, Columbia’s own award-winning chamber ensemble, to present An American Tapestry, a collaborative celebration of choral music of the United States. This country’s relatively young but rich choral tradition covers a wide variety of genres, from shape-note singing to African-American spirituals, folk music, and more.
